| Asian Carp Press Conference and Rally this Saturday, February 6. The event will be taking place at the Traverse City Fish Ladder at 11:00 a.m. State Representatives Dan Scripps, Andy Neumann, and Gary McDowell will be standing with representatives from area organizations most impacted by the potential threat of Asian Carp to call for stronger measures to protect the Great Lakes. Additionally, It is strongly encouraged that members further support the cause by signing the online petition at www.noasiancarp.com, calling on the Supreme Court to reverse its decision and to close Chicago-area shipping locks. |
