valid members of the Grand Traverse Area Sport Fishing Association to be
eligible for prizes. And pay only $10 to enter this contest. Enter the contest at
Jacobson’s Marina or sending payment to GTASFA, 401 S. Union Street,
Traverse City, MI 49684 or giving to GTASFA Board member. www.gtasfa.com

  • Any fish legally landed on a Member’s boat is eligible for prizes,
    however, a Member must enter the fish and weigh in at Jacobson
    Marina on certified scale, and prizes will be awarded to Members only.
    Members may distribute prizes as they see fit.
  • Participation is NOT restricted to boat owners. Members fishing piers,
    shore or river can also enter fish in the Benzie Big Fish Bonanza:
    However pier, shore or river landed fish must be caught and landed by
    a Member entering the fish.
  • A Member may enter as many fish as desired.
  • In the event of a tie, the length of the fish will be determines winner. If
    weight and length is same – prize will be split.
  • All fish must be caught legally with hook and line.
  • All State of Michigan fishing laws apply unless otherwise stated.
  • Fishing waters include all navigable waters of Benzie County.
  • Qualifying species – See prize structure.
  • Membership dues must be paid in advance before a fish can be
    entered.
  • Prizes will be awarded following each segment session.
