| Kids Free Fishing Day Great Lakes Campus from 10am until 2pm on Saturday, June 26, 2010 Sponsored By: TC Rotary Clubs, NMC Great Lakes Water Studies Institute, Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, the MI DNR, and Great Lakes Children’s Museum Saturday, June 26 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the NMC Great Lakes Campus on West Grand Traverse Bay Kids, Let’s go Fishing and Learn About Nature! Learn how to fish; no license, fishing equipment, or bait required! Learn about insects, fish, frogs and reptiles at the displays. Talk to and learn from a variety of resource professionals! We will even clean your catch for you (Over 1,000 rainbow trout will be stocked in an enclosed area of the Bay prior to the event)! No Fishing License Required! Free Refreshments! NMC’s Great Lakes Campus is located on the shore of West Grand Traverse Bay (Lake Michigan) at 1701 E. Front Street in Traverse City.
