NMC Great Lakes Campus on West Grand Traverse Bay

Kids, Let’s go Fishing and Learn About Nature!
Learn how to fish; no license, fishing equipment, or bait required!
Learn about insects, fish, frogs and reptiles at the displays.

Talk to and learn from a variety of resource professionals!
We will even clean your catch for you (Over 1,000 rainbow trout will  
be stocked in an enclosed area of the Bay prior to the event)!

NMC’s Great Lakes Campus is located on the shore of West Grand
Traverse Bay (Lake Michigan) at 1701 E. Front Street in Traverse City.
A limited number of rods, reels, tackle and bait will be available, so if you
have this equipment please bring it with you.

*Kids need to be accompanied by an adult
*A fishing license is not required for kids under the age of 17
